Heartfelt thanks to Denise Davies, AHA!’s technical advisor and website creator, for her patience and mentoring, as we brought our vision for Spellbound by Nature to life.

Sincere thanks to all those who contributed to brainstorming for this project, particularly Susie Murphy, who helped to develop and oversee a pilot project  offered in Antigonish in 2019, a project that informed this spell-kit. Our thanks to those who contributed to the pilot project, Rebecca Semple in assisting with workshop creation, facilitators Correen Lynch and Valentina Soler, and all the wonderful participants, parents, volunteers and community partners who supported these programs.

Our thanks to Anne Marie MacKenzie for looking after the payroll and budget for this project.

Lastly, our gratitude to Liz Brennan, who envisioned, created, coordinated and compiled, Spellbound by Nature.

Thanks too, to our funders, the NS Dept. of Communities, Culture and Heritage and Sustainable Antigonish, our numerous partners and to all who find this work interesting and helpful in strengthening their knowledge of, and bond with, nature.

  1. Spellbound by Nature is such a deeply inspiring project. One which in uncanny ways mirrors Lost Words ideas that have informed the work of the Deanery Project for couple of years now. Thank you for your vision, generosity and so many fabulous windows into nature that we are excited to share with our community.
